Bush is a Terrorist
Ok, so George W Bush is winning the election. Great. i am so happy. NOT!!!! The guy is a terrorist. and a religious one at that! He is a Christian and apparently senate meetings are often like bible study groups, he prays a lot as well. Obviously he is not listening to what God has to say to him because i do not believe that God would ever guide someone to tell blatant lies and drop bombs on innocent people. The business circles that the American government is involved in is amazing. Killing people never solved any problems, and if anything, i believe it is just going to cause more problems (i may have mentioned this before) because people will get angry and retaliate.
anyway, the point is that I believe that George W Bush is a terrorist himself. a google definition of a terrorist is: "One who utilizes the systematic use of violence and intimidation to achieve political objectives, while disguised as a civilian non-combatant." this page analyses several definitions.
Bush has instructed people (the military) to drop bombs in Afghanistan and Iraq = violence; all the while claiming there were weapons of mass destruction, which there weren't = political objectives?; - they have them in America, right? so maybe the rest of the world should get up and arrest Bush. he acted against the UN's wishes in the first place anyway.
Even though Bush may have won the American election, in the global vote, (a virtual online election for all countries to participate in) Bush only got 9% of the vote. that hardly equates a win. If the rest of the world can see what an idiot he is, why can't america? It seems there may be a certain level of ignorance there - people believing what they are hearing and seeing rather than seeking the truth. It's absolutely ridiculous what is going on there, if you watch some documentaries on the situation - not only Fahrenheit 9/11 but other international productions such as 'The world according to Bush' and others, you will understand what i mean. Perhaps America would be better off following the Philippines lead and electing some random movie star to be their president - they definitely won't be worse off.
And as for George W Bush's Christian beliefs: commandment number 6: Thou shalt not kill. (Exodus 20:13) and the final commandment given: love the lord your God with all your heart, soul, strength and mind and love your neighbour as much as you love yourself. (Luke 10:27).

To call Bush an idiot is somewhat short-sighted. To be sure, he is widely portrayed as such, and to a certain extent attempts to enhance that image of himself. Why? Because then everyone underestimates him. And when your opponents overetimate your faults, you are at an advantage.
It is interesting to note, of the three countries who allied to go to war (USA, England, Australia), two have since re-elected their leaders. Hence, they must be doing something right.
For sure, the propoganda about why they went to war was a blatant lie, but has America done so badly out of it? They now would appear to have first option on a good source of oil, thereby extending the life of their own reserves. Therefore, Bush has done a good job for America, and that is essentially his job description - to serve HIS people.
Likewise Howard, who secured a free trade deal with America, due to his decision to support the USA. Good for Australia. Therefore, he has done the right thing.
And lets face it, Can anyone honestly say they were not glad to see the back of Saddam Hussein, for whatever reason?

To gain economic advantage and stealing resources through killing people can hardly be justified.
As for the free trade deal between Aust and the USA - despite Howard's best efforts - it's still not secure. you may also have heard that this is Howard's 4th term -australian's are afraid of change and interest rates. 50% of the population also believe that they do not have enough money to buy their necessities. this coming from one of the riches countries in the world with one of the highest levels of wages...

Fair to say most people hate Bush, even fairer to say most non-americans hate bush, with that said the first commenter has some points. I think a more important issue with the USA is the low voter turnout, with people who use the excuse "my vote won't make a difference", and the whole 2 party system (commonly called 1 party system) it's almost doomed to stay unfair forever, if only they had prefferential voting, then everyone could vote for a 3rd candidate safely, i.e. Nader and forward preferences to whoever the democrat is, I love Australia's preferential system, it means I can put Labour near the bottom and Liberal even further down, its my Protest/Double vote.

This blog is some what interesting. Calling Bush a terrorist is not a christian thing to say. You quote bible text, but it says not to bear false witness against thy neighbor. I understand we all have different views, but name calling is not the answer. I 100% understand where your coming from. A lot of people don't agree with the war. Post again, I would like to know more about what you think. But this time, PLEASE give a little more reasoning into your post.
